The methodology of the teaching content

During the lecture course, the relevant activities of teaching and learning methods will be used:

  1. The verbal or oral method which is based on lecture, narrative, speech, etc. In this process, the teacher verbally delivers the learning material to the students, explains the learning material, and the students learn, realize, and pick it up actively.
  2. The written working method which implies the following types of actions: make extensions and records, summarizing the material, compose the theses, abstract or essay, and so forth.
  3. The explanatory method which is based on a discussion of the issue. The teacher provides a concrete example of the content of the material, which is being discussed in detail within the topic.
  4. The demonstration method this method involves the visual representation of information. It is quite effective in terms of achieving the result. In many cases, it is best to provide students with audio and visual ways simultaneously.
  5. Discussion/debate that raises student participation in the learning process and also the quality of its activity. Discussion can lead the way to the debates and this process is not only limited by pedagogical issues. It develops students’ ability to judge and justify their opinion.
  6. Study of cases (Case study) which discusses actual cases with students, and they will study the issue thoroughly. For example, in the field of engineering security, it can be a discussion of a particular accident or catastrophe, in Political Science, for example, the analysis of the Karabakh problem (Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict) and etc.
  7. Induction Method which determines the form of transmitting any knowledge, when the process of thinking in the process is focused to generalize from the facts, in other words – when the material is transmitted from the concrete to the general.
  8. The deduction method determines the form of any knowledge transfer, which is the logical process of discovering new knowledge based on general knowledge, in other words – the process is going from general to concrete.
  9. Analysis method helps to break down learning material as a whole component into consisting parts. This simplifies the detailed coverage of individual issues within a difficult problem.
